Calgary based painter integrates gardening, food and song into her artwork. 25 years of creating, growing, teaching and eating gives me lots to sing about! I invite you to visit my blog page for inspiration, recipes or just to see what is new in the studio.
a bit about my work….”Translating the sublime, ephemeral world that exists within the layers of the garden is a main element in the work of Sami Ladner-Zech. The incorporation of the brilliant and subtle light that this world often graces our presence with represents the fundamental core of her painting. Communicating the personal experiences, thoughts and memories of the artist, elements are lyrically entwined in multi-layered atmospheres evoking the rhythm and structure of musical notation, conversational language or the wind on a particular landscape.
Separately these elements elicit memories based on lived experiences rather than places or times. Experiences gathered from her roles as an, artist, consultant, teacher, mother, gardener, singer, and friend. Together they create an atmosphere of indeterminate space, of obscured visual measurement that is tenuous and frail, forming a tactile and rich reflection of her life.1

I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before.
